Preserving Our Place

The movement Preserving Our Place was birthed from the continued oppression and degradation. Our knowledge of the land, resources, and adaptation to the changing environment are valuable to our tribal sustainability and to the world struggling to grapple with a Global Climate Crisis. Rather than continue to have journalist, academia, and anthropologist extract our intellectual property. Our community is preserving and ready to deploy our own knowledge.

The project I am proposing is to preserve the knowledge, traditions, and tribal history.  Once assembled the Tribal community will deploy that knowledge in their own voice to the world. The main project goal is to publish a book from the Tribal community to the world telling our story forever preserving our place while advancing our marginalized and socially discarded community.
